1. What makes you happy?
Bubble baths, champagne, and nature. I also feel pretty happy cuddling on the couch with my husband and our kids watching a movie.
2. What advice would you give your younger self?
I would tell myself to be less afraid to ask for advice, to be less afraid of saying goals out loud and to be less afraid of failure.
3. If you could magically solve one problem in the world, what would that be?
Patriarchy! If only I had the magic wand. So many problems would be solved along with this one.
4. How did you find your purpose?
I found my purpose after becoming a mom and starting my business. I get to work with impact driven women to identify and tell the world what their super power is. Helping them communicate their purpose has given me mine!
5. What is your biggest pain point in building relationships?
Pushing past wanting to be a recluse and put in the effort to go from acquaintance to friendship. I love to meet new people and am curious about other people by nature. I've learned to become more outgoing and put myself "out there" but it didn't come naturally to me.
6. What have you learned from past friendships that didn't work out?
Always trust yourself. And as Oprah says, when someone tells you who they are, believe them!
7. Who are your SHEros (AKA female heroes)?
Bozoma Saint John
Gwen Stefani
My grandmothers, my clients, and all of the women in my family, especially my two year old daughter who knows exactly what she wants and is not afraid of asking for it (over and over and over again at the top of her lungs!).
8. What podcasts/books are you listening/reading right now?
I'm listening to HBR Ideacast, Girl Tries Life, Up Top with Tayah and CEO School
I'm reading The CEO Next Door by Elena L Botelho and Kim R. Powell
9. Where can we find you?
Right now? At home! (ugh Covid)
